ArcGIS Server Automated Vehicle Location (AVL)

  • Track. Anywhere. Anytime.

We have implemented a custom vehicle-tracking solution consisting of a database back end and an ArcGIS Server ADF application front end. From a GPS unit, vehicle locations are streamed to a SQL Server database and displayed on the web in a dynamically updated map. This application is light-weight and highly configurable with standard ADF web controls and tasks.
